The 73rd Independence Day of our great nation was celebrated today, 15 August at our splendid school campus which was vibrantly alive with the striking colours of our glorious flag. The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs. Annapoorna B, Lecturer, Department Of History, St. Claret PU College who added to the energy and spirit of patriotism through her inspirational words about Indian women freedom fighters. Rev. Fr. Thomas Manakuzhiyil, Our Guest Of Honour was a towering presence on this great occasion along with Mrs. Sally Jose, Vice Principal and the Coordinators. The Chief Guest and dignitaries hoisted the tricolour and received the salute from the marching platoons. The spirited march past by the four houses, patriotic songs and dance made the day truly magnificent. A Ramp Walk titled 'They Made History' was indeed a sight to behold as it showcased our brave freedom fighters and their sacrifices. The Yellow Dragons were declared the champions of the Claretine Challenge competition. The House Leaders and the Team members jubilantly received the cup from Fr. Thomas M. The day concluded with the school anthem.
