The most awaited Claret Cup - 2024 hosted by St. Claret School, Jalahalli started on 19 July and concludes on 20 July in the school grounds.
This popular tournament is an event looked forward to every year in which numerous teams from in and around Bengaluru participate with intense zeal and excitement. The tournament comprises of games like Basketball, Football, Volleyball and Throwball and has seen an increasing number of participants every year emphasising the role played by sports and games in the overall development of the youth.
The Chief Guest of the event is Shreyas S Naidu, Ex – Claretine, National Volleyball Player and Khelo India participant, who addressed the budding sports champions on the relevance of sports during the inaugural function.
This year 30 schools from Bengaluru participated contributing around 71 teams for the various events. The competition was tough but the resilience of the young champs shone through as they withstood the unfavourable weather conditions to emerge champions and win glory for their schools.
