August 15, 1947 will forever be etched in India’s history as the day the nation broke free from over two centuries of British rule.
To mark the 79th Independence Day the Claretine family to witness the demonstration presented by our students with pride and grandeur. The campus was abuzz with excitement. Rev. Fr. Xavier Manavath CMF, Manager, St. Claret Educational Society, graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The celebration began with a disciplined guard of honour by the 39 Kar NCC cadets and presented to the chief guest, Principal and Vice-Principals
With head held high and steps in perfect rhythm, the marching platoons saluted the guests before the tricolour was hoisted, filling the air with patriotic pride. The choir’s patriotic melodies stirred every heart, the Legends impressed with their flawless march, and the NCC cadets brought history alive through their striking tableau, Glimpses of the Freedom Movement. The Little Ninjas and dancers lit up the stage with energetic dance performances. The Chief guest speech highlighted the event and there was a feeling of pride and patriotism in everyone’s heart. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks. At the end, sweets were distributed to the students.
