St. Claret School, Jalahalli conducted a community lunch-sharing session from 3 September to 11 September, 2026. Students from Class 1 to Class 10 participated with great enthusiasm.
Community cooking helps in self-improving, nutrition, building social connection, saving money and teaching practical life skills. The activities included hygienically washing and cutting vegetables, serving meals, sharing joy, and finally cleaning and neatly stacking their plates. The goal of this initiative is to help each child with a leadership quality and the art of sharing and caring. This beautiful act is to make the children more self-sufficient and a capable person. It helps children the value of patience and team work and to manage their basic needs and inculcate civility in society.
